One of the best things I realized about writing for Lancer is that people like Kat or Ash & Gold are not my competitors. People who buy Shadow of the Wolf or Midnight at Iphigenia are probably going to be interested in In Golden Flame as well. Their success lifts me up, and vice versa.

while they're plentiful, if you have no interest… sorting through the sheer volume to find the perfect one will be horrible (and D&D is the most prevalent for groups)
albeit obligatory battletech time of war or lancer recommendation. or cyberpunk red or shadowrun

I sometimes call this the "kink dispenser phenomenon." Where some people see us dominants as vending machines, where you push the button (be subby in our direction or brat at us) and you get Kink out of it. Other than that they don’t see us as people.

And that's not even a shitpost, it's just a fact.

I spent a long time denying a lot of things about myself and handling things in ways that involved forcing myself to be less than what I am.

This place is all about embracing the dark and weird and scary.

luckily mine is 922(r) compliant, but does it work if I'm a butch only by necessity and mostly only during working hours?

it makes it so hard to keep up with what is and isn't real and what is going on.
then again the closest I get to kayfabe is when I stop myself from infodumping on a topic. may as well be open and forward with my intentions so people know what they're getting from and with me. for better or worse

I think it’s amazing that like, you can just write what you want. If you have ideas you think are cool you can write it. You can write something terrifying, beautiful, exhilarating, somber, anything. Writing is such a gift and I hope everyone I know writes the story they want

alpha dommes are only observed in high stress situations, if you see one please remember it's very unhelpful for her. Offer to let her operate the crane for a bit to reduce stress levels

some breaking stuff weirds me out since it sometimes comes off like we don't get to be people but always have to fight for position as if there is some alpha domme and a hierarchy

it's been many years since that's happened here but like… it feels weird sometimes being domme online since people seem to project their specific fantasies or expect certain things when the dynamic isn't there with them.
