I'm not sure why people insist magats should listen to the pope. They are not catholic. News alert! The pope is catholic. Why should they care about him? Do catholics care to follow the teachings of other religious leaders? No, they don't.

47K or 52K years from now, humans will have evolved. Comparison would be us going back to cave-man era. They would not be us in the future, they would be a far more evolved version of human. Probably wouldn't even be able to communicate with us. Just look at English 200 years ago. Lady is not well.

I hate what may be asked of our young recruits (as well as the more senior ones), but I admire their sense of duty and love of country in their willingness to serve. I have nothing but gratitude for their decision to join, and I wish them well in their chosen careers.

That really sucks. I can understand people not wanting inherited pets, but it's horribly cruel to opt for killing or abandoning them when there are humane options. I hope these two find a good home soon.

I hesitate to think an owner would do this to a senior dog. I hesitate much less to think someone who inherited a senior dog would do this.

Absolutely. Yes, we were very fortunate PMMC stepped up. He told us he was made for this time, and was he ever right. His baggage, experience, his laser focus and quiet energy, and especially his values... very fortunate indeed.

It's always about a goddamned book, isn't it.
