Today at a Foreign Affairs Committee briefing on USAID I asked Trump's head of USAID Pete Marocco, as the overseer of democracy and free elections programming globally, whether he was at the Capitol on January 6th.
He refused to say no.

itās hard not to feel disillusioned when reporting all the flagrantly illegal and terrifying things this government is doing somehow doesnāt fully break through to the mainstream. it feels like cable news and corporate media made a deal to convince people to keep calm and carry on.
The guy overseeing USAID was identified two years ago as a Jan. 6 participant who entered the Capitol through a broken window.
