maybe if they already read above their age range on a regular basis. if a 12-year-old were to read it, i'd suggest the parent read it first to have an idea of what's going on, then let the kiddo know that if they have questions or are uncomfortable with anything, to have a conversation together.
thank you! best place to purchase is on the publisher's website: www.mantapress.com/product-page...
i would recommend IFBTW for ages 14 and up in general. some of the topics explored might still be a bit too complex for 12, and there's some violence and swearing as well. possibly with guidance!
lkdjf;ljdsf;lskj ahaha okay ty!

i am so sorry but also i so admire your ability to turn such unpleasant moments into truly incredible syntax
i love reading good books
"Do not ye trust in he who says he will call Sears tomorrow, but in he who says he will call now."
i spent six seconds quietly watching the video and then twenty seconds laughing. incredible. 10/10 no notes
The fact that Mamdani just seems like a cheerful normal guy who's policies are things like "we're going to tax second homes to fund pothole repairs" or whatever and yet this generates panicked responses like "This is basically Stalin's great purge turned up to eleven" is... telling. It tells things.
another update: wore dia woman on wednesday to trick myself into feeling more put-together than i actually felt. it worked. okay ma'am you may in fact have a spot in the rotation, we'll see.

for about thirty seconds it's just MUSHROOMS WET DIRT LOAAAAM and then it calms down. powerful deep forest geosmin. little white flowers bloom with bright-green stems. i love it but don't know how much i want to wear it.

my? book?? i know it will be years before i have another book published, so my debut will be extra-special a while longer. still always blows my mind that you can buy and hold and touch and read and dog-ear and write in my book.
paperback copy of david almond’s middle grade novel, skellig
i’ve talked about it before. i’ll talk about it again. i read skellig in 2002 and it forever changed me as a writer.
in college, i wrote and performed an informative speech about bread in collegiate competitive forensics. people thought it was a peculiar choice. weaver gets me.
