Great onboarding isn't about teaching users what your product does.

It’s about showing them how it makes their life better.

Users don't want to learn your product. They want to achieve their goals.

Your onboarding should get them to their goal as quickly as possible.

Interesting! In my experience, most apps don't do anything new. They're variations of models that already exist.

E.g. Uber for Y, AirBnB for Y

I think AI will work for simple prototypes, but building a large-scale project would be a nightmare.

No-coders, what are your thoughts on the latest AI dev tools?

Bolt, V0, cursor replit ect?

Do you think these will eventually replace no-code?

I share tips on how no-code makers can improve their user onboarding

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

There are 3 key during a user’s onboarding.

1. When they sign-up.

2. When they first experience the product's value.

3. When they begin to use it consistently.

Most think onboarding finishes at step one.

Your onboarding flow is likely filled with unnecessary steps.

New users have no patience for:

- Lengthy instructions
- Steep leaving curves
- Filling in unnecessary fields.

Show them your product's value as quickly as possible.

Cut everything else.
