Ugh I miss my Swedish dentist. A similar price to the uk, just such vastly superior work and no amalgam. They were shocked the first time I saw them, Sweden stopped using it about 25 years ago.

At my worst, I was on checkups every 3 months and now I'm slipping backwards not helped by enshittified fucking toothpaste of all things.
We get an Oral-B one and it's extra foamy now, they've definitely changed the recipe. I would bet it's more foam for show, less actual functional stuff. I improved my teeth and got onto checkups every 2 years. My check up a couple of weeks ago and I'm now on checkups every 6 months.
My sister is dealing with the stress of the housing nightmare by insisting on Five Guys for dinner, and I can have whatever I want!

This country is just a leader at leaving people behind. I've always dragged my mum along with tech stuff but so many didn't have that. I lived in Sweden where everything is digital, but it was done years ago and it was explained to EVERYONE via different gov institutions. The UK is just awful at it.

Even just 10 years ago I would do one shop for 10-14 days. Now it's not possible unless you are relying on tins, store cupboard items or have a large freezer.

Well done! I've done it several times and the way that works best for me is knowing I can have one if I really want. It's the 'I can't' mentality that makes me go and chain smoke a pack.

I'd do some sprinkled under the cheese, maybe chopped. Then some sliced on the cheese before it goes in the oven, and then chilled ones on top as it's served.
I've added bbq sauce to my shopping list for while my sister is away, based purely on this. BBQ sauce, bacon and added pickles will take this to the next level!
