Been recently obsessed with @spicymancer.bsky.social 's Actirangers, specifically Pink and Yellow, and with the recent revelation that Yellow is a Naruto fan, I had to draw this

Yeah, but in the end that made her basically just get a copy paste of Tsunades moveset, something that no other character really gets with their mentors. Her actually using genjutsu wouldve made for such an upgrade to her fight choreography

Also having more genjutsu specialists outside of Uchiha

That is fair, though they also met him with Orochimaru, where he attacked all of them and was about to use Kirin (which yeah they didnt know what it was, but Orochimaru said that the technique would kill them when he talked Sasuke down, so he already had shown a willingness for that at least)

Pink cant go to any of her main hookups without an hour long Naruto rant before or after

Right? I wish Kishimoto went through with the setup of her being like a genjutsu prodigy

Im literally working on the script for a youtube video about rewriting Sakura, and one of the big things i thought about was Sakura being taught by Kurenai, cause like she also got completely hoed by the story

But yeah she was definitely wrong in the end, but its not exactly an insane conclusion to reach that the guy who attacked every world leader and then declared war might not be salvagable

Sidenote, she should have just had a fight with him there, like come on, Sakura with the 100 healings vs Sasuke? That would rock

Well, to be fair, Sasuke was the one who attacked first. He told Sakura to murder Karin (who, btw, was completely innocent in all this), and tried to chidori her from behind while Sakura was building up her courage to actually go through witb killing him

That is so fair. I love giving characters random details like that, and Yellow being passionately wrong about Naruto fits her oddly well
I can imagine her ranting about it to a completely uninterested Pink

Tl:dr, this is one of the most misrepresented scenes in all of anime, my girl Sakura has been slandered for too long!!

The one thing that she knew he had an emotional tie to that went even close to his emotional tie to Sasuke, its just that those romantic feelings werent-

international terrorist was not going to listen to reason. And hey, they were right, the dude tried to kill all of them and only didnt go through with it cause he was damn near blind.
Sakura was in a position where no amount of convincing seemed to be able to sway Naruto, and if he went after-

So yeah not a lot of direct comic inspiration here, mostly just what if Beast was a bit more like a monkey, with larger arms, and some muttonchops to simulate the hair on the side of a gorillas face

Finally Beast. For Hank I didnt want to stray too far, but I did make one slight change. Instead of leaning into the more feline look he typically has, I inspired his look more off of a gorilla (cause his initial mutation made him seem a bit apelike, so it made sense as an evolution)

These were my main image inspirations, trying to fuse them all into a coherent post-Archangel look

For Angel, I wanted to try something a little new, by fusing the classic Angel with Archangel (cause tbh, that version of him is a bit more interesting). Tried to do that by giving him the metal wings of course, as well as fusing his normal red with the blue that archangel is depicted as

As for the ice form, these were my main inspirations, going into the more spiky look cause it gives him some interesting texture. Along with that, I tried to style his hair to look a bit like a glacier, and adding the detail that his normal hair would be wavy like water, and "freeze over"

Starting off with Bobby, I always felt that his design ended up feeling a bit too uniform when his clothes transformed with him, so I decided to make him intentionally a bit lighter clad so more of his ice skin would be out (I mean, cold wont really be an issue for him Id imagine)
