If you want to buy the book from a website that isn't actively breaking apart at the seams, you can do so at swordnboard.itch.io. Thank you for your patience.

Furthermore, DriveThruRPG has now just gone ahead and delisted the book in its entirety for some reason. I don't know why. I will be reuploading the file and relisting the book as public, but this launch has been plagued by technical issues on DriveThru's front specifically.

Hello I would like to take some time today to tell people that there have been strange issues going on with TUSC: Mechanized Warfare's store listing on DriveThruRPG. For some reason, the file uploaded to the website keeps being taken off the listing, causing errors when people try to download it.

We've just sent off our latest book, TUSC: Mechanized Warfare, to DriveThruRPG for their approval process. That'll actually take a couple days to get done, so I wanna spend that time to tell you what's inside this book and why you should buy it, because it's our best publication yet!

You've not heard the last of TUSC, for all those who love the game as much as we do but we want to bring new experiences and new ideas to the table rather than exclusively iterating on old ones. We have so much cool stuff coming your way in 2026 and I would love it if you stayed tuned to see it all!

All of these things and more make TUSC: Mechanized Warfare our greatest publication yet and we spent so long working on it because we did really want it to be the perfect sendoff for TUSC. This'll be the last major TUSC release for a while as Sword & Board focuses on completing our ongoing projects.

4. But we're not done yet because on top of all of this, the game includes an optional set of rules for running much larger scale battles using 'Epic Scale' 6mm-10mm scale models. Because obviously when you have giant mechs and tanks the first thing you think to do is make em as small as possible.

3. The art! Sword & Board Games have taken so long to make this book because we were focused on having as much good art for this book as possible. @zackonline.bsky.social did an amazing job on the art in this book, and it really brings the title to life. Here's some examples:

2. It has rules for mechs, drones, tanks, hover tanks, cars, hover cars, jets, and you can combine these with the Titanic Creatures originally added in Medieval Warfare to have insane battles where a mech fist fights a dragon. That is objectively cool as shit.

1. It doubles the mission count of the core rulebook. There are six missions in the core rulebook, and if you play a campaign you select which mission you play by just rolling a d6. Mechanized Warfare has six more missions! And if you play a combined core book + mechanized campaign, you roll a d12!

Despite rumors to the contrary, we would like to remind everyone that the working conditions here at Sword & Board Games are perfectly humane according to games industry standards and the writer's room is only locked from the outside for Serena's own protection.

The Titanic size trait was also reworked, making non-Titanic miniatures a harder time fighting Titanic miniatures, promoting a playstyle of having your Titanic minis duke it out in cinematic duels between giants.

A roster of weapons exclusive to Titanic miniatures was added to the game, along with the GUARDIAN ANGEL Monstrous Species Trait. The Shield Combo trait was also added to the Halberd, Billhook, Spear and Lance. As well, several spells were reworked to deal guaranteed hits, instead of damage.

For transparency, none of our titles got deindexed or delisted from Itchio as far as I can tell. However, as a predominantly queer-operated and queer-owned game studio we're collectively quite shaken in our trust in Itch as a platform and are currently investigating pathways forward.

Until things get bad to a point where we cannot reasonably host our games on the platform, we're probably going to keep posting our games to Itchio for the time being, because ultimately studios of our size can't really afford to not sell our games on as many platforms as possible.
