We’d be curious to hear from @rodger.bsky.social about his views on Dog VAR as well
Posts by Suffering From Joy Podcast
We’ll have to ask @au-trout.bsky.social
Yeah, VAR in dog sports. There’s a whole podcast about it linked!
@sickoscommittee.org What is the official Sickos position on Dog VAR? Big topic these days

Man. He finally scored ✨on purpose✨ and it gets called back on a stupid offside. Nico riots or I riot.
Admin is back, having won *2* items in the online silent auction. So one more slow lloris fact that may humanize our Hugo brethren
The illegal exotic pet trade is one of the biggest threats to slow lorises. They do not make good pets and often die quickly due to stress (same girl same)
Admin now needs to use halftime to win an online silent action. So y’all are on your own for more slow lloris facts
Slow lorises are skilled hunters; they use their slow and deliberate movements to catch prey like insects and small vertebrates. They also have a specialized toothcomb—a unique structure created by their bottom front teeth—that they use for grooming and extracting gum from trees
Slow lorises each have a small bare patch under their arm that secretes oil. When they feel threatened, they lick this oil, which combines with their saliva to create a venom strong enough to kill small arthropods and mammals- ifaw
Intrusive thoughts win sometimes
How Son jerseys do you think Duber’s errant flyer hit? Alternately, was it more or less on target than Harry Kane trying to shoot WC penalties?
New podcast out. No discussion of admins new tiny squeaky pollo buddy, but hosts did go over the finer points of Banana Ball. Managed to catch a game of dancing baseball AND the losing goal of the Austin FC game.
Update: admins new baby squeaks. This will be delightful
Everyone, please congratulate admin on the new Suffering Pod baby, attending its first Austin FC II game
Admin was doing exaggerated “that was a *disgusting* tackle by Guilherme Biro” vocal stims before the game started. Admin takes whatever responsibility doesn’t lay with Ref Mendoza.
Glad to see Ow(e)n still scoring goals. Even with a sports hernia. Good for him.
Also. This take is completely out of control. Mendoza lost it when Dani had to fix his armband coms equipment.
There is a woman here wearing a t-shirt that says “Ask me about pancetta”, which hey, I like pancetta, people wear bacon t-shirts, rock on.
Several hours later I have learned Pancetta is her dog’s name.
Phillip lives under the bleachers now
This is our favorite dog today, he’s doing a fantastic job and listening to instructions well, but loudly complaining the entire time.
This is my favorite dog so far today. No concept of jump height. Just goes max boi-oi-oi-oing each time.
This might make for a sleepy afternoon
Admin acquired an Asiago cheese bagel that turned out to be jalapeño cheddar. Whoops.
Excellent first/warmup day, getting after it on a long marathon day tomorrow.
This handsome fella has blocked off a narrow corridor and has mastered the please give me snacks look. We could learn much from his ways.

Met a Silky Windhound, it’s like a travel size Saluki. Top tier dog.
Excessive dirt as thick as a Scottish peat bog and a rogue photographer cost team corg in the first round, plenty of time to bounce back.
We did meet an actual Border Collie/Corgi mix (which is what everyone thinks Phil and Pipps are instead of Cardigan Welsh Corgis).
Devan has taken over socials from admin for now and will be covering another dog agility trial this weekend.
Admin has stashed dog treats all around the venue, any dogs on site are encouraged to treat this as a scavenger hunt. Ignore your humans, throw off the chains of oppression.
