They're fun when they work but they just kinda sit there when they don't, but some classes can like ALWAYS do stuff compared to maybe not doing something which has me second guessing ever trying the other classes lol

So the thing is, class gimmicks in that game are like, the base form is garbage BUT you COULD get passive(1/10 are actually good) that make it cool...

I'm leaning towards that moreso, simply because of my most recent mewgenics run but I know if there's like 3 runs in a row where I get rng fucked, I might mald lmao.

I think potential characters make me feel like an addict LOL, constantly chasing that high of that one time you got the most insane god combo.

I LOVE the potential so much but omfg, some of the classes/characters in games I play are so ass when they're not op. Oh you didn't get X skill or item? Man, that's too bad, enjoying an extremely slow death LOL

I'm torn between the two because I LOVE to break my roguelikes, but some of the classes that can, might only do so one out of ten times, and that's SO frustrating, meanwhile tried and tested classes that kinda have an easier foundation but might not be the best kinda get too repetitive...

For roguelikes, what would you say is more important; potential or consistency?

Also bitching about this game again but like, why tf does tinkerer either feel like super cool, or a bit useful but like rarely insane? I've had crazy runs with every class(so far) and my tinkerer run that was good, was only good because of a necromancer ability.

Honestly, that's extremely valid. Like when you split something like $20 into what it could buy you, it makes sense to care about it, love the input!

I low-key hate being obsessed with someone's artstyle because it has me fiending for more like an addict and making up ideas only for them lmao.

Anyways, rant over, I only said all this because I saw somebody draw drifter really cool on the hellsite and wanted to c0mm them, but they were super inaccessible.

Having a clear TOS and examples also really helps.(no refunds in TOS doesn't apply if you don't deliver a product though.) For examples, people shouldn't really have to ask for something if you said you can do it, it should be in the sheet or accessible-ish at least.
