Absolutely incredible.

NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.

Watch with sound on.

You could’ve looked up Klimt and searched for his contemporaries!

(Sympathizing, not splaining, I know this brain glitch so well, sometimes you’re just helpless to it)

I saw a Slate in the wild a couple weeks ago too! Super cute in person. Really looking forward to those hitting the market too. We really need more small lightweight trucks.

The R2 is something like $45-60k.

I believe it. They’re really hardy trucks. We take ours camping and offroading.

Yeah, actually. The nose of the current model of Rivian is, purposefully, quite low, giving really easy forward sight lines…and the R2 is quite a bit smaller (about the size of a 4Runner).

I mean, I get your complaint, but these cars are actually built with that in mind. The CEO’s an avid cyclist.

My spouse has an R1T, excellent truck. Highly recommend.

Helpful tip:

If you ever have to come to someone you love and say "Whoopsie doodles, I forgot all these dirty dishes for eight months in our camping gear," the next words out of your mouth should never be "...but you can just hand-wash them."

Oh boo hoo hoo poor Dave Chapelle, who can't understand why he became a right wing icon for his super edgy humor that no one gets except right wing people, so misunderstood, so cancelled, now please go watch his new Netflix special and give him more millions of dollars

For a while, I have been so embarrassed by the Dems, the way they've been paralyzed or complicit for the last two years. @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social makes me want to care again. Nice work, sir. Where do we find more like him?

I remember a guy in my 1L class laughing about how he was just in law school for the money, “turning tricks on the corner of Law and Order in fishnets.” He was a FedSoc guy.

Despite Apocalyptic Warnings, California Fast Food Wage Hike Didn’t Kill Jobs UC Berkeley study finds employment held steady — and only pennies were added to menu prices.

A new report from the University of California shows that the state's decision to raise the minimum wage for fast food workers to $20/hr didn’t hurt jobs, or raise prices much.

Data from over 2,000 restaurants shows that the $20/hr minimum wage didn’t reduce employment.

Keep it up.

I always try to keep a few things in mind:

- few people are as terminally online as I am
- the terminally online can fall into a rigid mindset

So I always make sure to explain that avoiding Substack isn't just about some ideological purity thing, it's their support for Actual Nazis.

The same week the NYTimes was devoting its significant resources to producing this ridiculous piece about Lauren Sanchez Bezos's call for rich people to not worry and be happy, Ryan Hass, an independent journalist in Oregon, was investigating this horrifying story about a death in an Amazon plant.

Yeah I’m not trusting a white man with a nazi tattoo under any circumstances. I don’t care when or where he got it. I’m a hard no on nazi tattoos.
