Always interested in seeing this tried! Personally I feel (2D) animation would be the best venue given the nature of the series, but I'm game for any attempt. Hoping for the best!
I'm curious! What was your involvement / thoughts about the Nickelodeon series from way back when?
It is unfortunate to see, but I bet it's another "we want to field fewer angry customer support calls."
"I turned on my precon heater and left it on and I got x% less distance, why did you let me do this why didn't the car stop me?"
And so, they don't let customers do that.
It's dumb.
"Oops we made products that last a lifetime, time to scour for the Next Big Thing and insist very harshly that this Next Big Thing - which requires continuous subscription - is what everyone needs. No matter the cost."
Billions to get there no matter how much of that cash is just lit on fire.
It's the greatest tool one can employ on the Internet.
My 'muted keywords' filter on this site, for example, grows nearly every day. "Oh that's something I don't wish to ever see or engage in (in a vast sea of anonymous voices) ever again." Two clicks and it's gone forever.
Suppose I should! I've never car-shopped at all before (Taurus came used) so that's a whole other new life experience for me when the time comes.
I plan to drive my 2000s Taurus into the ground but when the time finally comes, what's the used EV market like in general?
I barely drive so "EV on a wall outlet" would work 100% of the time for me. Just need to go from A-B (and on weekends point C).
My hope: More time goes by = more options.
With how little I drive I would be insane to install a fast charger.
That being said, it would be easy (garage wall is relatively close to the electric box).
But! I could survive on a wall outlet no sweat. And on the rare occasion? I plan ahead!
An original Amazon Kindle device, with a broken screen.
After more than 15 years of service, today my original Kindle has turned its last page by means of a button press.
A new one is on the way, but sadly, buttons are a thing of the past. I want my buttons back I don't want to swipe or tap the screen to turn the page. π§
One of the few occasions where both the original work and the adaptation, despite the movie deviating a fair bit, are both great.
Makes me miss blog posts more. They do exist but ever since the advent of "micro-blogging", it's article-title-only-itis all the way down.
I always enjoy the "sampler" of weather that we get and wouldn't want to change that.
Settings screen that has an alert notifying the user to use "the app" to make changes.
I like using my keyboard and desktop, thanks.
Why have a desktop sign-in at all if you're just going to not let me do anything, haha.
"Track - The Legend of Zelda by Arcadia" / "Time - 3:00"
Years later and Twitch is still incorrectly flagging Zelda audio as being part of this musical pre-AI slop song (which amounts to the Zelda theme with a drumbeat put over it).
Remove the trash from your music copyright scanner, Twitch. Have to appeal with "audio not in my video" and it works 100%.
An incredible feat!
Happy 40th anniversary to The Legend of Zelda!

I think the word "stealing" has a much spicier ring to it, myself.
"Content theft" is a good phrase too.
"Plagiarism" is the fancy legal one!
Last night www.twitch.tv/schicksal88 got a new World Record in The Legend of Zelda - Any% No Up+A.
The new WR is now 27:41.001!
An incredible run.

Still have my registered copy of mIRC. Wouldn't fret going back to it.
Text that reads "Federal Due: $9"
Doesn't get much closer than that.

The worst one UX-wise is "max length 100 characters", because the error message you get is "use a shorter password."
Just keep guessing!
Updated a Google password today. Even Google suffers from Secret Password Requirement Syndrome.
- Restricted special characters: !@#$%^&*.()
- Cannot start or end with a whitespace
- Max length 100 characters
#JustTellUsThePasswordRequirements
I always approve of monospaced font usage.
An ASP.NET Yellow Screen of Death
Haven't seen this flavor of error page in a while.
Let's do this.

End result was having a weaker password since the application seemed to not accept good passwords even at such a small max length. Oh well!
Installing software for my new Brother printer.
Password rules bad.
10-16 characters max, with a Confirm Password field you cannot paste into from a password manager.
Had to do some trickery to get KeePass to auto-type it (b/c gen'd passes don't use conventional characters!)
