The voice of dog is looking for stories and poems for pride month 2025. This coming June, in what has regularly been our biggest broadcast event of any given year, we want to again feature stories that show facets of the LGBTQ+ experience through a furry lens. Think in terms of "what story do you wish you had had, when first you were coming out?" Stories should be under 10k words. Poems may be any verse form. No minimum length for either. As ever, usual Voice of Dog standards apply: no promotion of bigotry, stories should end on a hopeful note, and must be your own words - ie no use of generative AI, no work you have commissioned, no characters not original to you. We want to feature as many different queer perspectives as possible. Submissions will be accepted until May 1st. There is no cap on number of submissions for Pride Month.
