Blind Willie Johnson's "Dark was the Night, Cold was the Ground," the haunting 1927 song that got put on a gold-plated record on Voyager 1 and sent into space back in 1977. Here's that song. It gives me chills. You may also recognize it from the movie Paris, Texas.
