No one ever came up with a good reason as to why the Man of Steel needed a Supermobile, but it was definitely a cool ride. Offered here is a great portrait of a grinning Kal-El taking his new wheels out for a spin (you have to love a car with retractable punching fists).

I just concluded my trip through Archie, 1970-71. Issues 197-214 were as fun as you’d imagine. No matter what kind of day I’ve had, Archies hit the spot.
And to think I spent my first 40 or so years of comics reading ignoring them. Dummy.
