A more sensible reply. This hedge had been ignored in the 20 years I've lived here. The "hedge" was totally out of control, blackthorn & hawthorn were wild and meshed into a total mess 5+ meters high.
I have cut it down and only today cleared up the trimmings.
It will be a proper hedge in 2027.

I think we are really pushing on the "friends" envelope on this one. I want to stop but I just can't! He's going to block us soon.

And don't even mention 2020!!!

These two ladies were Fuggles (right) and Koscha. We got them at 4 months old when Mrs W and I had been married for about 2 years. Fuggles we lost to Spina Bifida at 12 but Koshka kept going to 19, when a fox got her. Both were beautiful-natured cats but SO FURRY! Grooming them was a constant task.

I take from this that you are keeping the whole herd! Have you kept a set of kittens all the way to adulthood like this before?

They grow fast. How old are they now?

We handed 3 of our 4 cattens back to the animal sanctuary at 12 weeks old. I didn't want to...

I've been busy in the last months!

Announcing a brand new "Practical Exadata Performance" training course!

I'm not aware of any other training *like this* offered in the world. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Also, a *free* seminar!

Exadata is an awesome platform, if used right!

However, when it came to writing down instructions for people coming to Mum's funeral, we did not feel it was appropriate to use the landmark everyone actually knew...

We think everyone found the crematorium OK!

Handy...

Last year my brother & I were discussing where the crematorium for mum was:

-Off the main road between Lichfield & Burton
-Where do we turn off?
-Fradley
-Which, there are two?
-Just after Hilliard's cross!
-Where?!?
-Where the derelict pub is
-Huh?
-... Just past the sex shop
-Got it.

Not quite on the same technical level as you, but a number of times Sue and I have been watching the news when it mentions some IT disaster, we look at each other and say "smells of Excel limits to me!"

A rare bit of good news - Orban gone.

It seems that Trump being on your side is somewhat of a handicap!

Good point about interntational being incredibly expensive. The only time we did international, an employer paid for it!

The last time we had to do that we got a removal company to do the whole job.

We packed up a few boxes of delicate/important things ourselves, had a huge clear out, and then let the removal team do 95% of it.

It costs, but the reduction in stress is so worth it!

I beleive many groups of pets around the world have this conversation on a regular basis.

If our two cats could just use a tin opener, I think we would be doomed...๐Ÿ˜น

Is this fourth or fifth time he's threatened huge war crimes? I'm losing count now.

Can't one of his security team just subdue him and put the cuddling smock on him?

Happy New Tax Year, UK pals! It's the medieval New Year's Day (25 March), shifted by 11 days in the 1752 calendar reform, then shifted one more day in 1800 because that would have been a leap year in the old calendar. But not in 1900, because nobody cared by then. I hope this makes sense to someone!

I was born in Skeggy. I went back once as an adult.

I am unlikely to repeat that trip.

A box, like most motivational posters or words of belief, which reads:

This is a special time of year for people from my community.
Every year we gather together, to support each other as once more the few of us address the needs of the many. We support each other in our aims, read the texts, and focus our minds.
It can be lonely, we are usually in a large space with many seats but nearly all of them are empty. But these three days are so important to us.
When we first gather we will exchange words, remembering prior years until eventually our leader will say a few words.
โ€œOK, letโ€™s get this bloody systems upgrade done!โ€
Every Easter. Every Bloody Easter!!!
