Finally. No more "Sorry, I don't understand."

Put myself to the test and vibe coded a piece of software for free for myself using Claude Code and Google Apps Script. The same software companies are charging hundreds per month to the market.
It really is wild what you can come up with when you really start to probe it.
Flying! Congratulations.
A sentence I didn't think I'd be writing in 2026:
I'm scheduling LI posts with a deliberate "mistake"/grammatical error, to prove to the audience that I'm human and it wasn't AI generated.
Wow.

I haven't done a proper 10k "race" since 2024, but done lots of 5k, longer runs, and a few HMs. Would love to do a time trial to see where I'm at. Hoping to catch you there or a parkrun!
Yeah hoping to, the last few times it's been on I've just not been able to make the dates work. I'll have to check when they're doing it again!
TP is on my list of places to run but "big hill" doesn't thrill me, especially as you're a pro at handling them! Congratulations on completing it.
True story, I once suggested regular time is set aside to do this, and was asked why I couldn't be more positive.
Spend time turning Ls into lessons and watch your growth skyrocket.
I just wrote a piece to share internally about AI shopping, and then I saw this. Guess I need to go back and update now! Hats off to you for doing this regularly.
π― spot on. Feel like there's a huge gap between knowledge sharing at the moment:
ππΎ "How to be seen in LLMs"
[Chasm of knowledge]
ππΎ "How to deliver more links"
Something I shared on LI, after an event this week:
Most of us are chasing the shiny new object, however I'm *still* speaking to people who are being challenged to deliver XX number of links per month, or XX number of blogs per month, and when asked why, there's no answer, or reason.
I was going to complain about the cold then remembered where you live π₯Ά
Had a great time in Amsterdam hosting a masterclass at the @semrushofficial.bsky.social event this week, not been since last year - such a cool place!
Any exciting weekend plans?
Hello!
Yeah, it's been too long since I've been active here!
Hey John! How are you?
Right. Hello. I'm going to try and be more present here, moving forward. (He says) π€πΎ
WHHHHHAATTTTT. ππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎ
AI Mode just landed in the UK. Excited to get hands on.
If you haven't diversified your traffic sources, you could be at risk of being left behind.

This is clearly AI. The golf clubs for feet are a big giveaway.
Marketers in the US: "Look at all of these cool new AI features!"
Marketers in the UK: "Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday!"

A great post from Jono, recommended reading ππΎ
A lot of the industry is realising the value of Digital PR, certainly when it comes to AIOs, etc.
However, many aren't questioning why some companies are still giving individuals/teams monthly/quarterly link targets.
It was never a volume game.
I fear we've passed the point of no return with AI generated content. A lot of things I'm reading daily I'm second guessing, and when checking, they display one or more telltale signs of likely not being written by a human.

At #recommerce25 today giving a session with superheroes such as @crystalontheweb.bsky.social @aleyda.bsky.social - amazing event so far!
Not a big fan of the latest Android update/OS.
Search bar has moved and there's no way to restore it. A quick Google shows many others share the same frustration.
Classic example of not understanding customers and moving things for the sake of differentiation.
I started the Lee Child Reacher series after S3 restored my faith in the genre. Will add to my seemingly ever growing list!
You write this like it's a bad thing. Enjoy them while they are here!
Makes sense. Just doesn't sit right with me that such advice is blindly given. You're paying someone for their expertise/lived experience, not some AI spun up content!
Question: if someone took health/fitness advice from AI, and got seriously hurt, or worse - who is to blame?
(Context: I'm seeing lots of pretend fitness influencers share largely AI driven garbage fitness plans that could seriously hurt people if they aren't careful.)
