Don’t get me wrong I don’t really have an inferiority complex towards my artwork. I don’t think it looks trashy, but there are some pieces that I see and think that I could have done better on. So I get surprised when people say I outdo myself every time. I don’t see it, but maybe others do.
Posting art online for me sometimes ends up being the equivalent of looking in the mirror thinking you look awful but then getting told “Looking sharp today, dude!” by people.
For anyone interested at all, this was largely inspired by Golgi’s method about halfway through making it. It’s pretty beautiful imagery, I suggest looking at them! The symbology and texturing in this image came from one particular image of a dogs olfactory bulb.

Oh yeah same thing with the text in the image, that was retrieved off the DICOM Viewer I ported the MRI onto! They’re the scan parameters. Image slice thickness, location, timing, and saturation (of the brain) it’s really cool.. I plan to do more with all of my MR readings.

Oh hell yeah thank you, I admittedly find it so cool to do, I’m trying to get ahold of all my other MRIs to do some pieces with my spine and wrist too :P
I recently needed to obtain MRI imaging of my brain and managed to get the files and upload it to my computer. I have over 50 unique images along with different photos of veins in my skull. It makes for a nice personalization of my art, literally, haha.

The train of thought is just: If it’s art, in a style I like I think: “this person could have made this.” I am less inclined if it’s a sc of a character from a show/game.
Genuinely, if I see someone with a PFP that makes me think “They might be making art I like” I typically check their media tab immediately. It has been the primary reason I go out of my way to check an account in my notifications out. I have followed at least 3 people from that alone.
The real online life hack to get people on your page is to just have a cool PFP.

99% of my character roster is apart of a game that is too far out from even touching the internet yet, so I rarely have artwork that can be uploaded. My one solution is making versions of them so far removed so my ideas may stay safeguarded..
