Dead Space’s navigational hint system was a godsend for me. I get lost in a square room 9 times out of 10.

In my attempt to log more time in my Steam backlog I got super wrapped up in Loop Hero last night.

Pulled the trigger. It’s all consuming.

Tomorrow I will have a teenager. How have 13 years gone by so fast?

I couldn’t get into it. I did the audiobook and maybe it was just the narrator but that’s one everyone loved that didn’t click with me.

Also a lot of that is off because Steam's tracking is wonky or just didn't start until a number of years in. There are games on there I know I've played a fair amount of in the past (HL2 for example) that showed little or no playtime.

After putting it all in a spreadsheet here are some Steam facts:

I have roughly 315 games on Steam.
7.2% of those I have played for 5 hours or more.
89 games I have 0 hours in.
My average playtime for a game is 2.72 hours.

My goal next year is to get more of my backlog to that 5+ hour mark.

Watched the first episode of the new Dexter show. I wholly understand we’re beating a dead horse for cash at this point but seeing that intro pop up again brought me a lot of joy.

That’s the worst. Hope everyone gets well quickly.

I gave Delta Force a spin and I assumed it would be like BF’s Conquest and instead it’s Rush Mode which is my fave. Had a blast.

The oldest is getting a gaming PC for his birthday. Having grown up in that sphere I obviously have opinions but just curious what others think: What are the “must plays” of PC gaming?

Yea saw it on Gamepass one night and didn’t have anything else going on. Now I’ve got it and completed it on the PS5 and have it on the PC as well 😩

So many hours on this after downloading it on a whim thinking it would be dumb.
