It makes me sad to hear of some American friends having to completely change their life plans away from education cuz of trump gutting various things

I think you should try it since it’s experience gained, maybe try a month long one instead of a week long 1 like i did

Only once have I felt the joy of feeling stuff come naturally and progress be made without having to spend hours to learn how to do a single simple actions, but it’s so fleeting! Rant done I’ll get over it and taking a break after the jam and feel better

I don’t because I’m scared that I’ll commit more time to a project just to be disappointed in the end result. I should be kinder to myself but man I’m just so exhausted by the mountain I must climb to learn coding to make something that functions (let alone looks/feels good)

I’ve sunk probably 20-25hrs into it over course of 5-ish days and I think that’s good for me since game dev is like learning 100 things/skills, but it fucks with me that I know I’m capable of sinking more time in to meet my expectations but I dont
