I have recommended the book to anyone who will listen and I know that they will enjoy it! Congratulations on such a great piece of writing!

Your extensive relationship with the main characters of the story (through interviews, etc) provided insight that I don't think anyone else could give. But, I appreciated that you weren't too proud to use (with ample credit) other people's research in a way that made your work better.
Even though I'm a CS professor, I'm not a huge gamer. But, I love histories of modern technology so I bought your book. What I enjoyed the most was how you combined your expertise in the field (its economics and its art-theoretical aspects) with your passion and (obvious) appreciation of Nintendo.
I just finished Super Nintendo and wanted to tell you how much I loved it. In fact, "loved it" does not really capture what I thought about the book. I am slightly older than you and grew up in the era of Duck Hunt and Paperboy and Double Dribble.
@mackeza.bsky.social (reposting here just in case you miss it on X) I am sorry that I had to resort to this medium to write this message, but I couldn't find another means to contact you.
... with baseball because of people like you! Keep up the great work!
@benclemens.bsky.social Just dropped by to say that I first "met" you on Behind the Numbers and loved your analysis. Could not get enough of it! I followed up by buying a membership to @fangraphs.com just so I could keep reading your work! I am a CS PhD and have fallen (back) in love ...
@saschameinrath.bsky.social I hope you are doing well!
@elbeno.com Hello! I sent you a message on LinkedIn because I could not think of any other way to get in touch. I am sorry if I bothered!

I am not the smartest person. It takes me a while to get it.
Custom domain handle!! I am *now* convinced this will be the future (cue the people 5 years from now looking back at this message as if I wrote it on MySpace).
Nevermind! I am an idiot! I RTFM'd! Sorry!
I would *love* to pay for this feature! My TLD is .cr (obs.cr). Will that be supported soon?
It's my favorite fragrance.
No cables, no rebooting. I solved it!
I am unfamiliar with this concept. There is a world beyond the screen?
Just kidding of course -- what a cool tree!
I really, really like the idea of defer for paired operations. There are many things to like about Go and that is definitely one of them! I even attempted to write a defer implementation using RAII (and lambdas) in C++ at one point.
I'm in! Reading it ASAP and will see if/where I can help! Looking forward to it. It'd be an honor to work with someone as amazing as you!
@rcs.bsky.social Hello! I was just relistening to your CPPCast interview -- I regularly revisit the greatest hits! You mentioned that when C23 is done you were going to start working on a TR for integers. I was wondering if I could help with that? I'd love to be involved!
I love logging in to things with my yubikey. Makes me feel like a secret agent.
Wohoo! There is *finally* a web interface!!
