Vale Mucklemaw, who didn’t make it much past the first room in the dungeon.
Definitely heraldic dolphins. Whereabouts was the photo taken?
Looks like it blew Judge Fear’s as well.

Wampacake
Fam made a Wampacake for my birthday.
And yes, I cut the arm off first and ate it.
Of course but that isn’t always an option, and some folks prefer written introductions
Would be a laugh if the King did everyone a favour and ran his sword through the Clown.
Blaming your poor life choices on dinosaurs is the best way to shirk personal responsibility for your actions. I like it.
When you’re gaming with strangers online like in old Flailsnail games or more recent pay to play or just with new friends of friends, do you like to know more about the other players by outside of the game? Just thinking of a “get to know me” checklist. Probably a million of these already out there.
Thanks!
Hi James, I did the layout, illustration and cartography for Death Frost Doom and other horror titles, and while I don’t have any contact with the publisher or author anymore, it is some of my best work and I’m very proud of it.

Listened to the new album it last night, was great. The Tron Ares soundtrack from last year was amazing.
The closest I ever got to Mt Fuji was 30,000ft above it, flying from Vancouver to Singapore. Travelled down the length of Japan glued to the window, a cartographer’s delight, with the eastern coast slowly slipping by. Magnificent view of the mountain across to Tokyo Bay.

Busy morning, lemme get back to you later on that.
In biz work design we always used filename_vXX_initials_yyyymmdd and it saved a lot of headaches once you got over the headache of doing that every goddamn save every hour.
NOTHING IS EVER FINAL and that's the real problem innit
It's ok, I already have waaaay too much to get on with, that project is just a sudden shiny distraction cause Kid 2 started talking about Lord of the Rings and that shit is like catnip (and I am a cat*)

That thing where you open up an old creative project from a couple of years back, dust it off, start making a few edits, have a strange feeling that you've done this before, then figure out two hours in you've been working on v19 of the file, when the latest version was v25.
Dammit.
Been there, it sucks, but turning that energy into something creative is the best way to get it out of your system.
What fresh controversy is this??!?!

Looking up an article in the very first Dragon Magazine I ever owned (#73, with the little nekkid dudes riding frogs on the cover). A lot of articles in there clearly stuck in my head, but also delighted to see this ad again:
Oh yes please!
… and this is why a couple of years back when AI slop first appeared it sent me into a deep creative depression. Businesses always bow to the almighty dollar. Once the tech was publicly available, this sad, terrible outcome was inevitable. To those companies refusing to use AI slop: thank you.
… just walking up at the local shops for a coffee and shopfront after shopfront now uses AI slop for advertising and design and it looks passable enough. But it isn’t good. And every instance is is another design job or illo taken from a human artist to line some billionaire’s insatiable greed…
Strange looking at the enshittification of art and design by AI, these are the two skills I can contribute to society with decades of training, experience and expertise, and technogarchs like Canva, built on the back of my fellow creatives, are doing their best to make sure my contribution ends…
