Every time I see a thread/comments like this, I'm ever more thankful for my parents being the way they are. Some of the most open-minded, open-hearted, and curious people I've ever met, and they taught me to be the same.

My friend found a dog wandering outside. Between cold weather and the dog continuously trying to run into the road, we took him inside. We're going to try and take him to get scanned tomorrow, but if anyone has tips about reuniting pets with lost owners, please let me know.
Not even just talking about cost, the unfair TAXING on pads/tampons is the bigger issue for me. They aren't considered exampt groceries for tax-related purposes and are even hit with an extra excise tax in many places. Thankfully, many states are correcting that, though.

I need side by side comparisons (so multi-windows on the screen) and a better ability to go back and forth on different things than my phone can do. Easier to print/save transaction pages easier for me too.
Mine were at least 10 years old and heavily worn too. I started keeping a spare pair in my car after this happened!
I had a pair disintegrate on me at work because of this. They'd seemed fine when I put them on. 🥲

I finished a book in one day! Haven't done that in far too long.

This dude also needs a history lesson on top of other things. I mean, just the Comstock laws alone. You'd already had multiple US laws prohibiting then legalizing contraception before 1920, let alone 1950.

Reading calendar that shows 9 read books and current reads based on the number of pages read throughout October.
I didn't quite hit the number of books read that I'd wanted (10), but I am proud of myself for finishing out a full month of reading every single day.
Better idea for this person and others like him: turn off whatever propaganda (internal or external) that somehow makes you think you're superior to everyone, including your potential date.
Once heard a movie call this overdicking around, and now my friends use that phrase constantly for this. 😂

The fact you keep repeating "separating themselves from their family" means you still don't quite get it. This shows something deeper than that. It's not just the men being off on their own but the difference in division of childcare, responsibility, and relative freedom exemplified.
