True! Sounds like switching to 4 was not difficult for you. I heard that a lot of node types and the way tweens work was changed...

I heard that 3 still has some advantages when it comes to html and portings, which is really cool. Makes me wonder why 4 does not have it yet...

So cool to know, and I'm glad I'm not the only one! Briefly switching to 4 just to see every piece of code break is such a scary experience...

Anyone else still using Godot 3?
I kind of missed out on switching to 4 a few years ago when I was still learning Godot, and by now 3 just feels so cozy and perfect to work with for me. Knowing that it will also still be supported in the future is cool too

Just found out about shape keys in Blender and how I could use them for switching between facial expressions!
Can't wait to go crazy with these during cutscenes!

Applied a PS1 shader onto one of my newer test levels just for fun. I'm not even nostalgic for it, but it does have something special about it.

I made so much progress with my little prototype during the last few weeks! Most of the new content still looks really rough and does not really deserve a post here, but I can't wait to record some footage once everything finally comes together in a more visually pleasing way! c:

I've been busy moving my game from Unreal to Godot. It's been a LOT of work, but I'm sure that it will be worth it in the end. I prefer how it feels to work with Godot and I am getting stuff done much quicker now. Also, my laptop can run it, so I can work on the go :'D

Some early swinging mechanics in the style of Rayman 2, with the same sound effects and all - though just as a placeholder for now.
It REALLY makes traversing the areas much more fun!

Thanks so much! Oh I actually never played Wind Waker, but it does look similiar! I just tried to create a generic lock on combat camera like in Dark Souls c:

Some classic sword particles for whenever you hit something. Simple, but it already makes quite a difference!
