@aletha-v.bsky.social they're a lot of fun & good food feels. At backyard scale it'll be years before they pay for themselves. Building a coop that looked good to the neighbors took a lot more than I expected.

With the weather, their winter molt, & lack of 🌞 they've haven't laid an egg in weeks.
