Ended up loving that manga and it's one of the few tankobon collections I saved from my 2018 purge, but I still find it all so interesting. I bought a wall scroll and had it on my walls for years because it happened to look like a character design I came up with organically when I was 12. 🤷

When I was a kid and anime was new and foreign, I saw this wall scroll in FYE. I had no idea what it was from — (it wasn't labeled) — but it looked exactly like how I was drawing my anime self-insert OC, so I bought it. It took until my mid-20s to find out it was Kanone from Spiral.
