All I want to do in life is write a hit country music song that features a distinctive and somewhat rare name in the title that propels that name in popularity as a baby name for one, maybe two, years, making those people's birth years instantly guessable, forever. A common dream, I imagine.

One of my favorite things to do is to go to the grocery store hungry. One of my least favorite things to do is to have gone to the grocery store hungry.

I find the guesstimated "revive Alcatraz" budgets surprisingly high. As a local, I can say Alcatraz Island is known for its year-round dry, low-humidity climate, and its landlocked nature lends itself to being impervious to beach and wind erosion.
