Took me many years of recovery to be able to say this :P. I think I have a very rational perspective and response over the whole thing after 300 flashbacks & times thinking about it(cptsd). I've never fully healed emotionally, so it's partly why I overwhelmingly identify with my Canadian side.

Kinda pathetic but that small art account was all I had. The massive cyberbullying (& prolonged irl abuse from bio parents) over nationality tore me apart.
Now whenever I encounter things related to Chinese, the brain sets off fight or flight because it associates danger with it(cptsd).
