There are a whole bunch of people who are going to be really shocked when they finally realize what they've voted into office.

We must be noble in defeat. It’s difficult to certify the election when it’s your own defeat in question, but it’s the right and just thing to do, to uphold the laws and traditions of our great nation.

Captures it nicely. But this is what we get when a culture has given up on critical thinking and independent thought.
