Gray whales are starving. Some have died off Oregon Coast Gray whales aren't getting enough to eat to survive their long migration toward Alaska.

Sorry to post this for those who abhor seeing this kind of news about wildlife. But while we are collectively agonizing over the state of our nation, the state of our planet is probably the more urgent news.

"I’ve explored the histories, landscapes, climates, and communities that nourish me, and I’ve tried to look squarely and fairly at forces that I work to resist."

I am so angry. Two Durham, NC kids - 11-year-old Genesis and 6-year-old Denis of Burton Elementary Magnet School - were taken by ICE at their regular asylum case appointment, and immediately deported without due process.

23 people could stop this genocidal war criminal. That’s it. 23.

20 Republican senators and 3 republican reps in the house and he’d be out of politics forever. But they won’t.

They’re addicted to power. A drug so strong they’d rather see a civilization die than give it up.

Six years ago today, Louisville police murdered Breonna Taylor while serving a no-knock warrant based on false information.

They shot her six times while she slept in her home. Breonna was only 26. She was an EMT, an aspiring nurse, and beloved by all who knew her.

As you know, black children do NOT receive the same media attention when they go missing as white children. Please consider following this account and reposting their announcements regarding a missing child. Your help is immeasurable

Horrifying doesn't even begin to cover it. This is, legally and practically, torture. They will deny HRT even to those who can no longer produce their own sex hormones, which can and will have dire medical consequences. They will drive people to suicide.
