@mdf200.bsky.social A Spitfire just flew over our house again. It’s the summer season with people booking trips in it. We have an annual fete here where they get it to do a low buzz across the crowds as few times - quite an experience. Has a very distinctive engine noise, hard to miss.

Hey, if you have a spare £2k you can come down here and fly in it for half an hour.

You’d love it here then. We get Spitfire flying over our house on a daily basis sometimes.

He needs to be removed as President to prevent a catastrophe that our species will never recover from.

I really enjoyed it but there were parts that took chapters in the book and reduced to 10 seconds on screen - the evolution of the Taumoeba to exist in the atmosphere for instance. I can see why but it was a large plot point that my wife didn’t get on the first viewing.
