this is a great CSS read.

not to mention syntax improvements; nested CSS, CSS vars and mixing colors, et al.
I'm sure both you and Red Lobster learned your lesson.
Gotta manifest it somehow
Imagining going back in time to 2003 to tell Jeffrey Zeldman that in 2026 people would be using a diesel powered version of Dreamweaver to make websites and that it guzzles fresh water every time you ask it to center a div.

Should have just called it Firehose. Geez.
I like to lean into my brand, Ethan.
This was a soothing balm after my recent performance review. bsky.app/profile/peru...

I really needed to read @aworkinglibrary.com’s thoughts on finding our way out of workslop; maybe you needed to read them, too. everythingchanges.us/blog/mouthwo...
It's beautiful
I briefly worked at that Bennigan’s. 😂
Concepts of an end
A set of screenshots from DEEP SPACE NINE. An old Klingon throws his arms around Dax and shouts "Curzon, my beloved old friend!" Dax returns the hug and says "I'm Jadzia now." The Klingon grabs her shoulders, smiles, and says "Jadzia, my beloved old friend!"
Star Trek figured this out thirty years ago. It's not hard. Even an old, drunk Klingon got it.
I like Andy's totally apolitical stories about how the only person who can save earth is one white American guy. Project Hail Mary (the film) was legitimately fun and worth seeing on the big screen.
That looks incredible

Young whippersnappers have no idea how badly we had to abuse these back in the day before CSS to arrange stuff on a page. 😅
I’m shocked that the three people I associate most with CSS in the tournament all lost in the second round. 😂

Categorization and ranking Speedruns are divided into various categories that impose additional limitations on a runner. It is common for category restrictions to require a certain amount of content to be completed in the game. Each video game may have its own speedrun categories, but some categories are popular irrespective of game. The most common are: • Any%, which involves getting to the end as fast as possible with no qualifier…
Niche joke. 😅

Still got a raise. My philosophy about performance reviews is that they are completely arbitrary and I put zero stock in them. When you hire me you get the good stuff but also the guy who will shit on your dumb ideas about AI and other things to your face and that's just part of the deal. 😂
An excellent point

In her letter to lawmakers, Thompson asked for help to close the facility and transfer its ownership from the federal government to the village for redevelopment as a museum. The “Broadview Justice Corridor,” as she called the project, would turn the ICE facility into a “national center dedicated to immigration history, civil rights education, civic leadership, and cultural tourism. “This transformation would convert a site associated with fear, protest, and division into one that promotes education, reconciliation, and national dialogue,” Thompson wrote in the letter, estimating the proposal would draw up to 250,000 visitors annually and generate up to $31 million in economic activity.
This is a legitimately great idea. Turn every ICE concentration camp into a museum of their crimes and the people who fought against them.
