I definitely feel this a lot, it's an odd balance of wanting to keep in touch but not wanting to ask how they're doing because it's a lot of emotional weight that you can't do anything practical about. I try to just 'check in' when I can.
You got it!
Yes! I have a Ribbet Bard, his instrument is an emotion/environment-attuned Chiptune handheld. Having a lot of fun with Daggerheart :)
I'm not a fan of the heavy Olde English dialog, especially not when your follower will NOT shut the fuck up about every interesting blade of grass you pass by. But overall I am enjoying running around tossing goblins into rivers so 8/10.
In some ways you have amazing mobility; climb up a giant's leg, cling to his back and stab away. Half-ragdoll yourself up a wall to grab the ledge. But in others you're hamstrung; no dodge-roll, no target lock. Especially annoying Vs fast flying enemies.
Picked up Dragon's Dogma 2. It's a weird game that reminds me a lot of Dark Souls 1. Not always in a good way. I get it's supposed to be faithful to the first one nearly to the point of silliness, but some of the design decisions are questionable at best.
"Better" is also not a great way to describe it when currently what it does best is give incorrect information in an extremely true-sounding way.

Also, use of emergency service sirens or car horns in any audio that someone might listen to while driving. Actively dangerous distractions as a driver looks for the non-existant source of the sound designed to alert them to danger.
Or even when you just want to be confident that the output reasonably matches the input instead of getting caught by a grammar peculiarity that's specific to the two languages being used, or a word-translation mismatch. It can be used but it can't be trusted, period.
"Oh, so you want one of the GOURMET genders"
Maybe America could do better than pitting two geriatric war criminals against each other for leading the most powerful nation on earth
The box for the Scarcrag Snivellers, a Goblin Blood Bowl fantasy football team.
I'm basically a Goblin IRL so this would not be a difficult role to play
Wait you can be a Goblin in pathfinder? I've been looking at Daggerheart (new Critical Role TTRPG) and it has a load of fun, cute races like insectoid fairies and tiny frog people.
This is a legit and rarer skill than writing serious songs tbh
Alt text is an accessibility tool, don't use it for jokes that the people it exists to help probably won't be able to tell isn't the actual description.
It's so easy to do and helps a lot of people. Reminder that only following folks with the alt text requirement enabled in their settings is a hill I will die on
Tried the Scott Pilgrim anime. Love that they got the original cast and love the art style. It's a little weird that they re-use so much material from the movie (at least early on, I assume it continues) but the delivery is different and doesn't quite feel right.
Loving the placement of blame here
One of my favourite things my phone can do is the automated call screening. It never gets beyond about 8 words of the automated "this is being screened and recorded" script before the dickhead calling me goes away.
Don't forget the endless parade of robot women pointing you towards their bio; an alley lined with dirty needles
Every once in a while I check in on Twitter/X and it’s like walking into some kind of white supremacist street gang fraternity house and finding a bunch of my friends and colleagues hanging out in a corner talking about grant applications while passersby are getting assaulted across the room
Most of the time, in fact. The type of discipline that you get in schools only teaches bullies to be more subtle and creative in their bullying.
