Fingers crossed 🤞

Is it just for a day, or do you have to entertain them for several?
It limits conversation to weather, Mrs Brown’s Boys, and “TV at Christmas used to be so much better years ago” as the least worst conversation options 😬 plus the annual “we must get together more often” awkwardness!
Wow 😳
Sorry you have to experience comments like that, from anybody.
And apologies if my birth family comment was suggesting yours was a problem, not intentional. Mine unfortunately are all Tory / Reform / Brexiters and blame everyone for everything 😔
That’s both 😱 and 😬
Comments like this remind me how lucky I am to live in a liberal southern city, away from my birth family 😢
“You’re not allowed to call it Christmas anymore”
“You know <insert name of place that’s both safe and has a vibrant community> is a no go zone now?”
“They want to take our cars away from us, and we’ll have to have a permit to leave the neighbourhood!”
Congrats 🥳
Please don’t do anything to celebrate outside of a cushioned box 😬
Pulp being announced as headliner at next year’s @endoftheroadfestival.com is exactly the news I needed to see today 🥳🥳🥳
What. A. Game. 😍
33-19, first time England have beaten New Zealand on home ground in 13 years, and only the 9th time they’ve beaten them in 120 years! All thanks to my lucky socks. 🥳🥳🥳
Si looking hopeful dressed in a white England rugby top. Behind him is a green wall with a dark brown shelf on it. On the shelf is a rainbow nightlight, a random goat toy, a mostly red print that reads “SW12 Balham (gateway to the south)”, to the left is a red umarell that stands in constant judgement, and a festival poster for Krankenhaus music festival.
Lucky pants and socks deployed for #ENGvNZL today 🏟️🏉🤞🤞🤞
Not tried that one, I will the next time I see it 👍

🤣 but also 🤢
I pity the fatberg that encounters the sauce 🤣
I had a clear out of the Bottle Rack this week, included was a bottle of ghost pepper chilli sauce I bough in New Orleans about 15 years ago.
Tipping down the sink made my throat and nose burn and my eyes water when I breathed in 😱
That sounds like an epic night out!! I’m this many years old to have a copy of Pop Art 😍 and hadn’t realised that TV were playing again!
Great to prevent keyboard snoozing, but doesn’t make a good screen filter 🤣
This morning’s outage shows just how many Internet sites, services, and SaaS can be affected in one go:- Atlassian, AWS, Canva, Lyft, Ring, Signal, Zoom to name just a few.
This is where good BC and DR planning comes in, what would your business do if *everything* is down?
I’d forgotten I’d shared this, thanks for reminding me as it is brilliant 👌
For convenience, here’s the link!
Thanks for sharing this report Esther. I’ve got my next appt with my consultant cardiologist & electrophysicist in a week’s time, so perfect timing (unlike my heart!)
Brilliant, thank you 🙏
Do you have a link to the programme on IPlayer please? Searched the app and it only has day 1-4 and there’s no other sumo or day 5 programme anywhere in the guide?
A modern art interpretation of an Easter Island head (I think?!) outside 555 Mission St San Francisco. It’s a big grey head with sunken eyes and a manic toothy grin. This is how your email finds me.
“I hope this email finds you well”
How your email finds me…
I get my flu because asthma, but my heart issue, which qualified earlier in the year, makes me apparently no longer value for money to give me covid protection 🤷♂️
Poor Tabby. We had to take ours a couple of weeks ago, and it was A Mission 🙀 we first had to slip them some gabapentin before then battling to get them in to their crates in the least stressful way. Very glad it’s only once a year.
Unprofessional gamblers benefit too, eg lottery, raffles, betting on the horses or dogs etc
Meanwhile in America, this headline has very “ugh, why won’t disabled people and asthmatics just die” vibes about it ☠️
Sigur Rós and orchestra receiving a well deserved standing ovation
Decoration above the stage at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam. Two prancing horses are shown either side of a red shield with a lion on. Below this is what looks like a royal crown.
Saw Sigur Rós last night in Amsterdam, a very different experience than the Royal Albert Hall, much more intimate compared to last week and easier to hear the orchestra (being deaf). Great venue too, a theatre originally built as a permanent horse circus space!
