The idea that federal officials would yank millions from an org caring for children due to the president’s self-inflicted messaging disagreement with the Pope should alarm anyone who believes in democracy, the rule of law, religious liberty, and government accountability. We will expose the truth.
The commission tasked with supporting our elections cannot operate in secrecy, especially in light of Trump-Vance admin efforts to undermine voting.
Its failure to release records before 2026 elections raises questions about who's influencing decisions on our fundamental right to vote. So, we sued.

NEW: Democracy Forward sued the DOJ for allegedly failing to hand over records requests for exchanges between the department and election deniers.
The request targets prominent figures and organizations in the anti-voting movement, including Kurt Olsen, Cleta Mitchell and True the Vote.
This ruling proves that litigation is working. Proud of our team at @democracyforward.org for their continued work to shed light on DOGE's misuse of data in court.
