I agree! Our teachers work so hard to teach our children, but from what I’ve seen raising my own kids, the teachers are stuck “teaching” to the standardized tests. Often, students memorize facts for the test only vs developing critical thinking skills. As parents, we strive to fill the gap at home!

How do we educate the willfully ignorant? How do we help change the minds and broaden the horizons of those who refuse to seek out accurate information, refuse to keep an open mind, or refuse to even consider the possibility that they are misinformed? I am genuinely asking. 😔
