Having to be in the presence of a conspiracy theorist Republican for 15 minutes almost did me in today. I need to read a book and scrub my brain.

Noon is actually the perfect time to start interacting with me. Before that is Me Time.

Women taking up arms is not the answer. Men deciding that it’s not ok to kill or harm women and children is. It is quite literally the only answer.

And again, how many women are sitting in jail right now because they killed or harmed their abusers?

“I’m bout to show you right now” made me YELL. This dude on the street almost caught HELL from me the other day when I was walking in the bank to handle some of my dad’s final financial business. Wasn’t even looking his way and he yelled “HEY!” (startling the shit of me) “SMILE!”. Almost lost it.

While admiring the beauty of these interactions, I couldn’t help but to notice that weird mahfucker asking shorty about her toes. I just
it really sucks that men will never beat the allegations.

That’s too bad. Because that’s never the main point of a romance novel.

Money/access can move a storyline along much faster. The actual romance is in how the woman is treated - loved for who she is, catered to, listened to, cared for, and (usually) with no loss to her autonomy. But there are definitely authors that write about folks with regular jobs.

As someone now grappling with maybe having to go back to hybrid, that video was timely.

Here’s part of her interview with Keke that got the girls going đŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł

No shade to Keke Palmer but we wouldn’t be have this discourse about Emma Grede if she was interviewed by an actual journalist.

Keke just said, “
interesting” instead of challenging her statement about the cons of working from home.

I’ll never forget a man sending me a dickture with a fluffy white dog in a sweater lying near his feet. I was like “that’s a woman’s dog, isn’t it?” Him, after a pause: “Yes”. All conversation ceased.

Yes to bush beans! I hope your corn does well too. It’s a water-needy crop because it grows so fucking fast.

This is a local crop!!! I just stood there horrified thinking about corn and all the ways it’s used (animal feed, fuel, and on and on). $7.99/lb has TERRIBLE consequences.

Note: I’m not big on corn for corn’s sake so I wasn’t shopping for it but that stopped me in my tracks. We are in trouble.

$7.99 for 3 ears of corn. My first time seeing these corn prices with my own eyes.
