I don’t disagree but then forcing Gonzales to 3B, as a result, is going to probably be rough. I’d love to be wrong but the defense across the board seems like it’s bound to get ugly.

I think a big part of it is also that the Pirates didn’t add anybody at SS/3B so it seemed like Griffin was going to get the call in the absence of another plan. But it turns out the plan was to break camp with zero shortstops.

We need more public outrage for what MLB did to the scoreboard page on its app update.
