No spoilers here, but that finale of The Pitt was one of the finest episodes of TV or anything I’ve ever seen, I was so so moved, I just wanna sit and watch it again. Kudos to the writers and the actors for their brilliant work.

I LOVE Jammin' Java, my show is 7:30. A couple of years ago the power went out then came back on, but the front stage lights never did, and a fan named Thomas Marlowe took a photo which was so cool I ended up using it for the back of my album “The Lucy Story.” Power is on tonight!

It’s really hot in NYC and our AC hasn’t been turned on yet so poor Janie is lying on the floor in her fur coat trying to keep cool and Molly had the smart idea to rub ice on her tummy, which seemed to help. Photo by Molly.

Just found this, I think it’s 1972 or so, at summer camp in Michigan. My friend Tammy Kohn sent it to me (she’s to the right of me, I’m in the middle in front.)

Just finished an excellent book, “Dope Thief.” I know it’s now a tv series, which I haven’t seen, but what a powerful book, beautifully written. A gut wrenching and moving portrait of some of the people caught up in the world of meth addiction and sales, a world I know nothing about.

Molly and Rick and I are driving back from The Cape, Molly is driving and I get to be a passenger in the back seat with this adorable sleeping pup.
