Do we have anything left that's worth protecting?" the third panel shows the broken body of a flying mouse. "After this is over, will there even be anyone left who deserves the new world?"
duster turns to kumatora and says "Kumatora, that's not fair." kumatora counters "I don't care. I want to hear it from Lucas. He's the smartest one here and you know it." Lucas, with his legs slung over a sleeping boney, is letting a caterpillar crawl onto his finger as he responds "I guess...."
"it's the possibility that the future could be better." Lucas continues, observing the caterpillar closely. kumatora, still discouraged, holds her face in her hands and says "That's a pretty flimsy hope." Lucas looks off into the distance and responds "Yeah, I guess so." around him, two butterflies flutter by.

an anonymous question asks "I love how blunt your robot girls are! 'You're annoying and weird, go away.' 'Bro, this is embarrassing, give it up.' Do 13, Rick, and Kristi work for anyone?" rick smugly answers the question with "hell no! we're free-" and cure cuts her off by finishing "-loaders". rick insists what she was originally going to say, "AGENTS."
cure then reaches up to a shelf holding various bottles and chemicals, apparently in the process of doing her job. without looking at rick, she says "I don't get why youre BRAGGING about this. it's embarrassing. there's no excuse for a robot to still be walking around and using up energy if it doesnt have a job to do." rick, listening to that, merely scowls and stays quiet, evidently seething.
