I saw that the DoJ is claiming that the SPLC "deceived" its donors by doing these secret operations, as if the SPLC hasn't been open about doing this sort of thing for years.

Republicans always seem surprised when Democrats play be the same rules Republicans do.
And I have the perfect idea of who can help them.
Tonight as it appears that Virginia has voted in favor of partisan gerrymandering, the MAGAs who usually gush over "Might makes right" as a way of life are now all het up that the rural areas of Virginia got outvoted by the more heavily populated cities.
Congratulations, and good luck!
I wonder if this means Trump will never ever ever sign any legislation ever again, just as he promised.
I think Kennedy got his medical training from these guys.
Kennedy may think that nobody's ever read his books.
Then again, maybe he's got something there.
Somebody should do a feature about people selling stocks to pay for their gas.
So you and I and everyone else are in effect now refunding American corporations for import tariffs, although we paid for most of them in the form of higher prices — which they won’t now lower because they have monopoly power to keep prices high.
The Art of the Deal.
Way back during the Clinton and G.W. Bush administrations I did logistics for the Navy, which encompassed all things supply - including gauging what the ships would need, and making sure their needs were met. Say what you will about Clinton and Bush, but they never let our ships run short of food.
I've read some pretty harrowing stories from WWI about those heroes who got the mail through.
I don't remember, has Trump threatened to leave New York too?
Though that's an improvement over him usually saying "nasty" instead of "she".
This has gotten so bad that even Charlie Kirk criticized Trump over it: He said that inflation was making it too hard for young people to make a living, and housing prices were making it too hard for young people to buy their first homes.
Here's an easy question that Trump and his people will never answer: What prompts were used to generate the AI Dr. Jesus Trump picture?
I'll guess that "doctor" wasn't one of them.
The "originalists" ignore the fact that James Madison himself specifically advocated for the separation of church and state - in both directions, including keeping religion out of the government.
Madison also successfully fought to keep the phrase "Jesus Christ Our Lord" out of the Constitution.
At this point anyone being challenged about voting by mail should just reply "If it's good enough for President Trump, it's good enough for me".

So glad to see someone so beautifully articulate what I think about almost every day….
And when a MAGA insists "If you raise the tax rate then companies will leave the U.S.", just tell them "Donald Trump gets very very angry at companies that leave the U.S."
"Donald Trump always says what he means!, unless there's a backlash and then he was 'joking'."
Secondhand report: My boss at the college library I work for is a very loving extrovert, and numerous student introverts over the years have drifted under her wing.
This is what happens when your friends are evil, and are only using you for their own ends.
Someday Trump is going to find himself without friends, too.
It's definitely worth remembering at times like this that not only was Trump a draft dodger, the whole reason Donald John Trump exists at all is because his grandfather was a draft dodger.
"MAGA VETERANS" - A group that does not include Trump.
I keep hearing MAGAs say that the media "twists" Trump's words. Thing is, though, most of Trump's words are so garbled and incoherent that the media twisting them could only make them sound better.
"Mamdani came here under false pretenses! He came here when he was seven years old but told people he was a 'big boy'!"
I've known writers who are far, far more talented than me - outright natural talent - but I've published a lot more than they have (in some cases they didn't publish anything) because I was far, far more determined to do so.
