This is incredible. Heathkits even died long before Radioshack.

I heard rumors the tarsier fired his agent.
Thanx for this. I will look it up.
I grew up with Rathbone, feeling he could not be beat. Nice to be proven wrong. Jeremy Brett certainly unseated him--not that this is a competition. The series is superb and accurate and holds up well.
My dad saw Frankenstien on first run in the theaters with one of his brothers. He related people were screaming in the audience. Both of them were too frightened to walk home after the movie, so called a relative to come drive them home. The booth may have gotten some use.
I really think this is important, and is illustrative of MAGA psychology. I've talked to a few MAGA self identifying fans, and the cognitive dissonance is striking.
Fond memory of first viewing this when I was a young one. But I don't recall the horn, which makes me wonder if some prints were edited. I did not get the benefit (heh!) of the horn till later viewings. The horror horn would be useful today when watching the news.
"Star Trek is too political now"
Bro we had a black lady and a RUSSIAN serving on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 60s. Pretty fuckin political then.
First interracial kiss, too. First lesbian kiss in the 90s in DS9. Several races of aliens that don't adhere to a gender binary-- need I go on?
I've been trying to find the interview, but no luck. I recall it was coming like he stated he'd handle it differently. There's a good Fangoria interview:

One of the pillars of the Folk horror triad, the only one with a supernatural element. Some great performances. Required viewing, but with trigger warning. The director now regrets this particular scene.
Tardigrade playing violin
Yup. Free speech is exemplified by Trolls and CHUDs slamming StarFleet Academy--who never watched it--and Paramount bending the knee.
I'm guessing that's a Garter snake and Ribbon snake.
I guess there were no libbrals on those multi-million dollar cruises he was gifted.
The same man who said if Clinton can't be trusted to not cheat on his wife he couldn't be trusted as POTUS, who years later made excuses for Trump's cheating. He has no credibility and is just another Fake Christian grifter
Literally everyone except Trump's psycho red-hatted base hates him.
Surely NYT can find a few to interview in diners?
My first date in high-school! I took her to a double feature at our local theater: Clockwork Orange & Deliverance. This was an encore run for Clockwork, a year or two after its first run. Deliverance was on its first run.
I agree. There's a lot of the 'perfect is the enemy of the good" in the comments. It's good Hungary will no longer be bank rolling fascist CPAC and other groups here in the states.
History repeating itself: digital vs film. Film had its champions. Media companies debated the high expense of replacing cameras. But fate changed that: 9/11. Those with digital cameras got their images posted near instantly. Film had the darkroom wall. Newsrooms switched basically overnight.
Perhaps the first movie to approach the disembodied hand issue which so plagues book hoarders and collectors of antique or arcane codicies.
I'm done with her. Wasted millions on ineffective television advertising and fat checks to consultant class. She will sink us again.
Can our current Orwellian Atwoodian timeline get Roddenberried por favor...

Both the original and 78 remake perfectly captured the zeitgeist of their times. The creators resisted the temptation to tinker too much with the original story, which has stood the test of time. Unfortunatly, most remakes screw-up in this department.
Great job!

Visited the Smilodon at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC yesterday. Cutie!

I wanna watch the Artemis landing on this.
Watched a bunch of "liberal" commenters on NY1 bad-mouth him this morning. They begrudgingly acknowledged the pothole filling. Corporate media indeed.
In his closing argument, Johnson argued that not only was his client innocent, but that Border Patrol agents were, in fact, the ones assaulting protesters.
