I just wish we could do away with fake recruitment. If you've already chosen the successful applicant then have the courage to stand by that decision. Less effort and expense all round.

Me too! Look forward to perhaps hearing some key points at a later date. 💪

A fantastic evening last Thursday! Our microlecture speakers took us around the world with stories of human and physical geography in action.

Curious how taxi drivers learn to navigate London's streets, or what it’s like aboard a European cargo ship?

That's ridiculous. Is it always that expensive, or are companies cashing in on current price hikes elsewhere e.g. fuel shortages/cancelled flights?

I've been following this impressive initiative over the last few years. I don't think there are other, similar schemes in the UK, although I'm happy to be corrected!

In exactly the same situation, Cat. Working through long covid recovery at the same time has added extra complexity.

There are no words that adequately describe how much I miss being able to go out to gigs, to parties, to festivals, just having a basic normal social life.

Long Covid took all that from me, and it could take it from anyone.

Reflections on a participatory research project: Women’s Grassroots Activism in England and Ireland, 1918 to the present

Looking forward to speaking next month on 18 May at @vahs.bsky.social seminar series about #womensgrassrootsactivism & how we used participatory research to co-create & co-produce our #Activism100+ toolkit. If 18 May seems too far away you can find out more here 😊 learn.lsbu.ac.uk/womens-grass...

I didn't know what to think or do about it tbh. It was all very odd and a bit unhinged.

'Universities will also be banned from using non-disclosure agreements to silence victims of campus misconduct. Staff pressured to sign such agreements will be able to seek redress through the complaints scheme.'

The one good thing about this scheme.

There are still a couple of places left for the Kairos Spring Residency in Devon. It's subsidised, so very good value for a week away in a beautiful spot with interesting people! www.kairos.london/event/kairos...

We love a bit of Hepworth, and doesn't she look magnificent in front of the blossom tree? 🌼

We've picked Dual Form for #MuseumJigsaw this week as we have our first public art walk of the year!
