I dunno, IL has one of these judges downstate too and he gets dispatched relatively quickly by our state SC every time. VA may have a longer process though
Before y’all lose your minds this is the same goofball judge that blocked everything else at every other stage before being overruled by the Virginia Supreme Court.
Which is always where this was going, and the Va Supreme Court isn’t exactly thought to be staffed by goofballs.
We shall see.
Some rando rural county court judge? Lol. That'll stand for a few days, tops
They did stop eventually but not until the car got full enough that riders were in his personal space. No, nobody said shit. Chicago lefty Twitter convinced everyone we just have to put up with stuff like that or else "you're a cop" or something. Especially since COVID.
Nobody wants weed re-banned again but goddamn we need to reintroduce weed smokers to an ounce of common sense and courtesy. Blazing up on a packed L car during rush hour? FOH.
Hating women but leftishly is a trend to keep your eye on, it's going to get worse before it gets better
Another day to tap the sign
oh oh this is fun for me because now I get to say
the Strokes always sucked
How pathetic are the Bulls that Billy Donovan noped out with a year left on his deal and it's barely made a ripple in Chicago media today?
So much false equivalence in media on gerrymandering in Texas vs California & Virginia. California and Virginia maps approved by the voters. That's a huge difference not enough people pointing out
Look it's vitally important that Democrats embrace this guy who 80% of the country has never heard of & who's disliked 2:1 by people who have heard of him.
I'm in this boat. Was against Biden in the primary, viewed him as a stick in the mud. The level of miracles he was able to make happen turned me into more of an optimist about how government can work and how the Democrats can govern. Even now that has not changed.
I heard the same thing but also that same tranche of polling was where they figured out they could win IN and NC and decided to push more chips into the table there
Eh, no way the NYC media, who wanted to bury the Bulls and Jordan back then, would have sat on *that* story. It would have leaked from the NBA HQ, too. Hell, no way they'd have been able to keep that from the Chicago press either. Media still largely functioned as that sort of sunlight in '93.
tbc, I dont think you can take InfoWars as a brand, use it as a vehicle for conspiracy and disinfo shaped content, and just say "ok but its a satire site of what it used to do now." Clickhole worked as a satire site bc it wasnt Buzzfeed. You cannot turn Buzzfeed into a parody of Buzzfeed.
Sorry but I'll never buy this one, simply because there is absolutely *no way* they would have been able to hide something like that from Vescey or Lupica or the NYC tabloids of that era, who basically had more sources in David Stern's office back in the 90s than Stern himself did.
"Airport Lounge" is one of those concepts like "Burning Man" where I have no idea how that fandom gets so worked up about it.
I heard a trucker talking to a dj on the radio. He said truckers everywhere are bummed no one does the "honk your horn" arm gesture anymore. I'm going to start doing it again rn
Meet the Mets! Beat the Mets! Come on out and Sweep the Mets!
GO CUBS GO! NICO WALKOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1980s NL East Cubs fan me is so happy right now.
Arguing that if only we’d chosen someone better (however that’s defined) than Clinton or Harris or Mills people wouldn’t have chosen to vote for the worst person alive or a nobody with a Nazi tattoo grants too much and absolves ppl of their terrible choices
If I were a sociologist I might study if streaming and same-day Amazon delivery and burrito taxis have turned us into selfish creeps who think the world revolves around us, personally, and why that’s generally bad for society 🤔
I do think I am smarter and better than people who voted for Trump, I will tell you to vote for whoever opposes Trumpism, I will chastise you for voting for Trump, and I will call you stupid.
Sometimes shame is good. People should be ashamed they voted for a fascist.
RIP to a true mensch of the industry. He and Tom would quietly support all of the college radio stations in central IN back in the 90s, including at BSU.
This Marianos bar is currently packed with neighborhood locals. With music this good, can't blame em
I have no shame in admitting it rules.
So the bar at the Lakeview Marianos has a Friday DJ every week and she rules. Just nonstop mood-elevating grooves, currently mixing Janet Jackson's "Pleasure Principle" with Rick James' "Cold Blooded". Beer prices are right, too
Puddles the Duck had a parody video of Gangnam Style that was charming and adorable.
