Just want to call attention to maybe the greatest breakfast scene in movie history - Pee Wee's Big Adventure!

Your collective bladder control is the stuff of legend.
I fully endorse this trick when stuck. Just abandon all effort to be good and be dumb. It's a way of moving forward while finding the shape of your scene by exploring all the ways it won't work.
It's far easier to improve a completely wrong scene than it is to make an okay scene great.
Take comfort in the knowledge that the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.
While not everyone I've encountered has lived up to that high bar, surprisingly enough the overwhelming majority have. The kindness you've put out into the world sets an example that I strive to match. I say this with absolutely no hyperbole, you all are the best!
I just need to take a moment to offer my profound thanks and appreciation to the independent film community that I've found myself in. Incredibly supportive, generous, resourceful, and so damned talented. I would have gotten nowhere in my filmmaking journey without all of you in my life.
I'll buy the popcorn
And it's depraved.
Keep trying, my friend, you'll get there one of these days!

Congrats on your impending anniversary milestone!
I had the best time meeting Rob and watching his movie RAGING MIDLIFE over the weekend. Immediately ordered a blu-ray.
Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a big silly comedy about a quest for a very special shirt. It's already out on Tubi. Check it out!

Sadly, whatever the die comes up with he'll claim it was a natural 20 and that no one has ever rolled as many natural 20s as he has and then insist that they rename the country after him.
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)
Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1997)
Seed of Chucky (2004)
Horror franchises really used to say "OK now let's do a John Waters one."
I've made a note of it and will check it out next time I'm in the area.
If only it wasn't a 6 hour drive away for me...
Yeah, I checked.
Damn, that looks good! I've got a bit of a soft spot for waffles.
Pretty much exactly sums up my interest level too. I'm happy to keep up with friends/news, a little self-promotion, and hey the occasional discovery is fun too.
I just want to spend my time on platforms that encourage people to appeal to other people rather than to game an algorithm.
I've already made The Omen my Christmas movie tradition, why not carry the theme forward.
Horror movies you say. Consider me intrigued.
Be careful which waffle establishment you end up in though...
Congrats!
And it was the viewing experience I was hoping for too. You didn't let me down!
Congrats man, that was fun and disturbing!
Dude, that's awful. These socials can be incredible ways to spread joy and ideas and build friendships, then there's those who just want to bitch about others. It's like they're John Hinckley Jr. trying to impress Jodie Foster. Sorry you've been hit by that side of things.
Tomorrow will be better.
No question about it.
Just because he clearly has no idea what he's doing doesn't mean that his handlers don't have a very clear plan.
It may be April Fool’s Day, but this is no joke. We need your help #HorrorCommunity if we hope to reach our funding goal for our bank robbery horror anthology. We only have a THREE days left, so please share and consider backing if you can!

They’d rather the country be poorer and whiter than rich and diverse. Of course when the pie shrinks, the rich will demand the same amount and will tell you the crumbs you’re left with are because of immigrants or trans people or DEI. bsky.app/profile/apne...
They Will Kill You is a blast. Don't sleep on this one. It's badass, funny, and bloody as hell.
