I continue to be floored at how far coverage for @fabtcg.com has gone. Production quality is great, and the casters keep getting better and better. Lots of ebbs and flows in casting to help build tension at the right moments.

I usually leave design to the developers, but the number of card designs I have in a folder for oscilio tells me how close that hero is to greatness. Can be taken in so many directions for the extra oomph he desperately wants.

I think generic tools should be tech/hate pieces as opposed to core identity cards, so I’m fine with WL, warmongers, shelter, etc existing. I would like them printed a bit more, and better class alternatives to be printed for the most part.

I think generics and generic majestics have a role to play, but might need to increase the print rate or something to compensate.

Egregious the weekend of world premiere (see, needle ban, but instead the weekend of Prague). With having a serious competitive event that we can’t officially draft in paper until the actual event unless we fly to a world premiere, I’m already stressing prepping for US Nats.

I’m going to campaign for a few changes based of this weekend for how the next set release is handled. While this weekend was a blast, getting cards was a nightmare and frankly cost prohibitive ($90 Shelters 💀)
1. Product sales start the Monday after pre releases.
2. Pre-emptive bans on anything

I think MST is giving Monarch a run for Most Powerful Set released at its time. Tales is in the convo too of course, but the run MST has been on since release is impressive.

For one I’d made some decompose arcane spells, then I’d figure out a way to have more instant speed interactions outside of just rampant growth combo. Playing a lot at instant speed is a large part of wizard identity to me.

I know this has already been said before but every time I play verdance, I get sad at how much of a wizard flavor fail she feels like. You do so little arcane damage unless you’re playing a bunch of 1 for 4’s, and then you’re playing a textbox-less hero which feels awful as well.

We had SEVENTEEN at an armory tonight in a dead format and I can’t explain how happy that makes me.

I just finished Wind and Truth and need a whole host of people to talk to about this. That was quite a destination for that journey.
