Been a long month doing the #AtoZChallenge for blogging. But ive been really happy getting a chance to write and attempt to keep up with the daily pace. Kinda proud tbh, specifically, felt good writing down a nerd riddle ive used at parties since the early 2000's 😅 bneil.me/posts/2026-0...

Threads thread: thriller_instinct 3d Is it okay to bully 40 and 50 year olds who are on social media just for being on it, cuz like why are you here - 254 Q 3.1K G 28 746 corporateash 18h ••• My ICQ UIN is 7231680. That number is burned into my consciousness. I inadvertently learned that you could see private conversations in public chat rooms when using Telnet instead of a browser on GeoCities. I can tell you the difference in audible dial-up handshakes between 1200, 2400, 14.4 kbps modems. I needed a edu email address to join Facebook after my university was admitted. We were here at the beginning. We made social media. You wouldn't be in my Top 8. I have usernames older than you. 852 Q62 G6 72
“I have usernames older than you.”.
Holy shit
truly majestic
But seeing where this was from last year... i don't think its going to be much longer. im guessing the LLMs just weren't built with a ton of Terraform native code examples. Ive seen some Puluma stuff come out that is encouraging
I find it does a fairly good job with terraform, the only bad case recently was using opencode with opus 4.5, it ran into a race condition getting ssl setup for a cloudrun app, it ended up removing a bit too much (thankfully isolated to one project and it was all greenfield), but it still worth note
Been trying it for a few days, the 'library' agent was very nice, in that it used grok 1 fast free and gave some nice insights on a repo I was unfamiliar with. Also the default mcp servers nice. i hadn't used websearch_exa or grep_app before. mostly just 'serena mcp', so fun.
@cybrkyd.com appreciate the post on the hugo stats, super helpful, I didn't realize that was available. Always feel like im just learning about some weird feature of hugo. thanks for sharing!

Recreational/sport cycling transformed my mental health years ago. Honestly was an absolute game changer when I needed it the most.
Let's re-embrace the bicycle for transport Trinidad and Tobago!

Cloudy day, which made the bike riding all the better.
Me in a reflection with a sign on the glass that says “bicycles deliver the freedom that auto adds promise“
Visited Bike Athens and was greeted by one of @tomflood.bsky.social’s signs… definitely made for a great 1st impression.
Dope work Scott and his team does there. I did good by not coming away with a bike, but will def want to visit/volunteer next time I come thru Athens
