If you can't get paint to work through Wine, as suggested by someone else, another alternative option is you could run it on a Windows virtual machine, using something like VirtualBox, of course this doesnt get you fully off of using Windows, but it would gaurentee that it works as expected

But say someone who plays fortnite regularly but avoids paying any money to them. That's okay. Though I don't think Fortnite is very healthy to play in general tbf, but that's a problem with live service games as a whole and not specifically Fortnite.

Being "a fan" of something is rather broad.

I would definitely judge someone who financially supports Fortnite given where its going. If someone knows about the harm of say JKR and still decides to buy the HP collaboration. That would raise eyebrows, why would you ever give money to transphobes?

You're not a bad person just for playing Fortnite, it is deliberately designed to be addictive and give you FOMO after all, like most live service games do. Fortnite does contribute to some awful shit though and you should think about that, and you definetely shouldnt be paying them anything either.
