I recently discovered a continuity error introduced in Side Order!

The dates of the Dev Diaries were written in a way that makes previously established events regarding Off the Hook's world tour impossible.

I'd like to do some more writeups of how I'm feeling about the state of the franchise on my tumblr, because it's relatively easy to put together. Whatever happens, I'm definitely still going to be around the lore community

I'm halfway through a 6 year course and it's going to get a lot more time-intensive starting in September. I think I'll still be able to do stuff like my most recent vid on the raiders trailer because that was just recording plus a couple hours of editing to fix audio issues and find images

gonna be real with the way my course is going I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make heavily edited content (like my old squid sister lore vid) again, which is sad

I think one of the things working with comp Tableturf has taught me is that sometimes there just isn't a sizeable crowd for what you're interested in.
You can work to introduce lots of people to what you like, but that never guarantees that they'll enjoy it like you do.
You have to be ok with that

A lot of comp Tableturf players are outside NA, so I'm not sure how many ppl you'll get if it's explicitly region locked

but I think it's still too easy to take bits of Splatoon's unreliable narration as word of god because Nintendo themselves often play into it (e.g. Nintendo treating Little Buddy like a pet, despite it being an example of inkfish dehumanising the salmonids in a questionable manner in-universe) [2/2]

Splatoon's sense of moral greyness is I think rather significantly undercut by nintendo's unwillingness to even approach spelling out that surface inkfish are (on the whole) fairly unempathetic and impulsive
