So yeah, I'm going back to my original account, @andysport.bsky.social. Weird twist ending for any of you who actually know me. I'll make sure I transfer my following list to the other account, but if you follow me on this account, be sure to follow that one. Don't worry, this is weird for me too.

Because my presence here no longer reflects my reality, and as the possibility of meeting Bluesky friends in person grows, I need to have my online presence mirror my physical presence. When I started this account, I was sure I would be starting my transition at any time. That is no longer the case.
This is a really weird post to have to make, but here we are. I made this account while I was deep in the exploration of my gender identity and had (or so I thought) conclusively decided to transition. I am now significantly less sure that I will ever transition, or even that I identify as a woman.
Maybe/hopefully @bostonisa.bsky.social or any other supporter groups can help with carpooling from Boston while they're down in Foxborough. I had been planning to take the train down from Lowell, but obviously that's no longer an option for '26. That's a long-ass drive and why idgaf about the Revs.
This has been coming for a long time. There was no way they were getting it done in time. Gillette is gonna suuuuuuuck for Legacy games
Not shocking, but very disappointing. Gillette is terrible when it's empty, and I can't imagine an NWSL team filling it, even in their first season.
Also Trin doesn't get a first name?
People be Normal on the Internet Particularly When Women are Involved Challenge (impossible)
I just noticed that the Mets are currently here in Boston. Might as well jump in at the deep end!
The Mets aren't a bad call, actually. Can't complain about watching Juan Soto! I briefly considered the Yankees, mostly for Judge, but there's not really any personality there. That's how atrophied my Red Sox fandom is haha! I'll attempt to dig into the Mets and the [shudders] "National" League (??)
If we're being honest, I think we can agree that the Marlins are probably not going to inspire me to come back to baseball haha. Who would best compare to the Sox of the early 2000s? A perennial contender trying to win, but with some personality. Maybe I'm a glory hunter but losing on purpose stinks
Warning for "rude" content.
This is definitely my favorite feature on Bluesky. It's so funny to me.
Strand Larsen on a team and Cunha on neither is wild
After falling out of love with my hometown Red Sox (Mookie trade) and starting a job that made staying up for my dad's Mariners' games untenable, I've found myself losing interest in baseball. I want to come back. But I'm not sure how to take the survey or pick a team without a current favorite team
Very Important Payor
Yeah. It's the same can of worms as millimeter offside calls. There has to be a line drawn somewhere, and when things are just on the line, it never feels good, regardless of which side of the decision you're on. Ultimately, a touch is touch, no matter how light.
Check the Rhime in My Ass
Hopefully it goes better than this one did.

Bostonians love the marathon colored ones though. I see them everywhere around town. They accomplished the mission of connecting to the city, I suppose.
I’m not even a Sox fan anymore and I might have to get one of these
Yes, absolutely

working on stuff
Hell, yeah. Finally, we get Jon Bois's take on Alleman, Iowa.
(Complimentary)
I can hear these things from Lowell
I've been seeing a lot of this recently, so I'll say it again. There doesn't have to be unfair dealings for there to be a conflict. Even if I am entirely objective in my decisions, there can still be a conflict. Only the appearance of or potential for bias must exist for there to be a conflict.
I mean, he can say whatever he wants, but there doesn't need to be preferential treatment for there to be a conflict of interest. Regardless of how Sr. treats his son, there is a clear conflict of interest. When you have conflicting interests (your son v. the sport) there's a conflict of interest.
As a Wolves supporter, Slot has to win 😂
His face is all over the trains here in Boston. I hate it so much.
"I don't want to be giving advice."
Isn't the whole point of having a governmental agency that is ostensibly in charge of health to... give advice?
